Why we built it
The usual tools force a hard choice. Free checkers like axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse are genuinely useful for spot-checks, but they reach only a fraction of WCAG, say nothing about your PDFs, and can't prove conformance on their own. Enterprise accessibility platforms do the full job — and are built and priced for large organizations that already employ specialists.
Public agencies fall hardest through that gap. The Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule holds a county with three people in IT to the same standard as a state agency with an accessibility office — and it's already in force for the larger entities. Smaller private teams land in the same spot for different reasons, and both end up asking the same question: where do we even start?
A11y Audit answers that. It crawls your site and finds every page and PDF, runs the automated checks, walks your team through the manual review no tool can do, ranks what to fix first, and produces evidence you can actually hand to someone — every issue tied to a specific WCAG 2.2 Level AA criterion.

You get real conformance, not a number that hides the gaps.
Evidence, not assurances
Compliance you can demonstrate. Attestations are cryptographically signed and verifiable by anyone without an account, compliance packets are hash-chained so tampering shows, and every decision is logged against the findings behind it.
