These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the A11y Audit website at https://a11yaudit.app (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

Requesting a Scan

Submitting the contact form or requesting a free scan starts a conversation — it does not create a binding agreement for paid work. Any accessibility audit we perform for you is governed by a separate agreement that we put in writing before work begins. You should only ask us to audit websites and content that you own, operate, or have explicit permission to test.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — text, layout, graphics, and logos — are owned by A11y Audit and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing on the Site grants you any license to use our intellectual property without our prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Information on the Site is provided for general purposes only and does not constitute legal advice about your accessibility obligations.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A11y Audit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
